My dear friends.
Feast your eyes on this treasure trove.....

These are all unused stamps going back for years.
My school friend sent them to me. They were in her father's collection. He recently passed away, may he rest in peace. I am SO honored to have something that belonged to my dear friend's father.
I cannot think of a more timely gift. It is more than a wink from the upper realms is it not?
I intend to USE these stamps. To allow them to at last fulfill their intended destiny. To frank letters and postcards that will go around the world. To release them into the wild so to speak.
In the Postcrossing community, unique stamps are a big part of the appeal of the card, and are highly sought after. These will certainly fit THAT role!
I hope he would approve of my choice. And I'm so happy that he saved them all these years. And that C. saw fit to share some of them with me.
In the spirit of her generosity, I invite any of you, my readers here on Dear Diary, and to those on my mailing list, to send me a private message here, or an email with your snail mail address, and I will send you a postcard with some of these stamps on it. I may have to cobble together new and old ones to make up the correct postage. These have all KINDS of denominations!
Thank you so much C. You are such an awesome friend. And I am so grateful that we got reconnected after a long separation!
HaShem is Good.
PS: To the email list: Don't reply to the bulk email list. Send me a separate email with your address so it doesn't go out to the whole group! 💗
