In all the shuffling of files and going through older flash drives to see what I might save to a more secure location on the new Mac, I ran across the following photo.
I thought I had lost this one forever. It was only a memory.
It was buried deep in an obscure file on a quite old flash drive, that by rights should not even still be in working order.
When I lived in a warmer climate, I planted a peach tree. Peaches being basically my favorite fruit, the idea of growing my own was an amazing idea.
This is ... no kidding, for real, a peach that came from my back yard...

The variety was O'Henry.
I have never before or since seen a more perfect peach in all my days.
And I have bought boxes and boxes of them over the years to can, so I know of what I speak.
I'm so glad to have found this photo.
It made my day.
The only thing that would be better is if I could eat it again!
