You Too Can Be A Good Deed Doer !

At the request of Pink Spirit Lady and of course our Fearless Leader at Dear Diary, I am passing on the urgent information that DD is not doing so hot financially right now.

I know that plenty of us are not exactly "comfortable" in the monetary realm, but I am asking you to consider changing your status to a Plus Account, or if not, to make a donation to help cover expenses.

I read so often how much the Dear Diary community means to you, in your respective diaries. All of us have said it at one time or another. Well, what say we translate those feelings into action and pony up some cash to the Captain of the Ship?

A Plus Account turns out to cost about 10 cents (American) a day. I figure I certainly get 10 cents worth of smiles in one day. And I most certainly enjoy putting my 10 cents worth INTO the discussion. So please, think it over. Do a good deed.

I hearby pledge to send a ten dollar bill to our Fearless Leader next week. As soon as I get the mailing address, I will repost it here. Sorry, as of this writing, I have misplaced the thing once again. But I am sure if you email him, he will be more than happy to give it to you.

How much is a plus account? I've been thinking of treating myself, but then I ask Why? I don't post photos, and do all of the other stuff that plus accountants can do.

But if DD is in danger of going down the tubes, I'll do my part.

As much as I appreciate this account free I think it is bad business to have these accounts free even if they had a lesser fee of say ten dollars a month that would contribute paying for the expenses

I wanted to send them a cheque once but they said that they cant accept cheques this may have been under the atomic system
do you know if they accept cheques now?

I recently upgraded to plus. It's not inexpensive, but I do like my new set of penpals and want to support OFL. Thanks for the heads-up. Maybe there will be enough Secret Santa's to keep us up and running.
