Home again safe and sound.

It was a pleasant trip. Not too hot, even without air conditioning in the car, we were comfortable.

Robbie was so happy to pee in his own front yard and drink water from his OWN water bowl. He is napping in his favorite spot near the front door right now.
I noticed this trip up that he was more than usually "clingy". His hearing has gotten worse and I think he felt uncomfortable in the unusual surroundings.
So we humored him quite a bit, and I suppose he deserves it. After all he's 91 in dog years. I certainly hope my loved ones humor ME when I am 91 !!!

The tomatoes grew about 4 or 5 inches taller while we were gone.
I am sure they think they are very clever.

Okay, gotta git. Need food. Brain is wandering.

Home again, home again. Welcome back. Although you didn't say so, I'll bet you're just as glad to be home as Robbie is.

Oh, those tomatoes. You can't leave them to their own devices for even a day. They'll just take over if you don't watch them!!

    Shalom

Glad the trip was good. Wow, the tomatoes really outdid themselves. ;-)

I'm glad you got home and safe! As to my summer- I'm afraid you don't get rid of me that easily. I will probably appear online just not as regularly as I do now, the one good thing about my old work is free internet access when the shop is quiet, as for Louise she is heading to Luddite central so as far as I know she won't be updating.

When you were talking about your tomatoes I had a flash of the movie Return of the Killer Tomatoes- complete with a poodle permed young George Clooney! Oh dear definitely not enough caffeine!
