Still pining for my Bloggar software. Alas, I'm typing html into the entry window. This annoys mildly.
(You are SUCH a whiner.)
(That isn't true either, you have lots of comments, and I'm sure you are going to share them with us today. Isn't that special?)
Boy did YOU get up on the wrong side of the dictionary today!
The iMac and I have had some serious screen time this week as I have been editing some older works with a project in mind. I think I'm rather getting the hang of 'Pages', the word processor in an Apple computer.
Last night at our knitting guild we had our annual Trash to Treasure event. We all donate yarn and other knitting things we don't really want or need anymore and then have a silent auction on rather large lots of yarn. I won lot #11, a table full of various kinds of yarns in the green family. There were also magazines and some knitting needles and what not that came with it.
It was a rather large garbage bag full of yarn! Yikes!
Then to add to the excitement, I won a raffle prize [I think there were 8 or 9 of them altogether]. That was a knitting project tote, very nice, filled with books, yarn and three kits with patterns. I am now awash in yarn!
I have been on a yarn diet for almost a year, and this haul filled up my last two empty bins and I am now filled with anxiety because I don't LIKE having a big stash. It takes on a life of its own and begins sending past due project notices in my psychic mailbox and this keeps me up at night.
Literally.
I didn't get to sleep until 2:30AM.
Ridiculous!
So, I have an appointment with the blankie and the couch later on this afternoon.
In the meantime, I leave you with a photo of a few more teeny tiny watercolors I made not long ago.
Excuse me while I go troll Ravelry for patterns. I hear yarn grumbling in the other room.
Have a nice weekend!
