Give Peace a Chance

I Have seen on the news and read in the newspapers all about the peace marches around the world.

I am all for peace.

But there seems to be one small problem with this warm and fuzzy view.
Somehow, these people are forgetting September 11th (as if we could) AND
the calls from every quarter of the radical Islamic world for "death to the
infidels". If I am not mistaken, unless all these people that turned out for the peace rally want to convert to Islam, they ARE infidels.

One cannot make "peace" with madmen.

Not long ago I saw a bumper sticker that said....

"Stop the Cycle of Violence"

As I was sitting at a red light looking at that I had time to think that thought to it's logical conclusion :

"Stop the Cycle of Violence, Let the madmen kill you."


(Works for the Madmen !)

    I remember WWII. I didn't like it.

    I think I will like WWIII even less.

    Well, this is another hot issue, but I tend to agree. No one likes war, but I like the prospect of living under a madman's rule even less. ;-)

    No one ever wants war, and no one ever likes war. However, sadly there are times war is necessary and this is most definitely one of those times. You are SO RIGHT, you CANNOT MAKE PEACE WITH A MADMAN!
