Well, after a few false starts and one returned journal, I have finally found my diary for the coming new year.

You would think that after all this time, I would have settled on a favorite brand or type of journal, but turns out I am as fickle as the weather in these matters.

It became a small crisis because I broke up with Archer & Olive. Their journals are very well made, and beautiful to look at, but the stark white, dot grid, fountain pen un-friendly paper finally pushed me over the edge. No offense A & O, but I had to move on.

It's embarrassing to be so wishy washy at this time of my life. You think I would have a little more self-possession. Alas, it is not so.

Anyway, I have two pens that go really nicely with this journal. I can't decide which one is best.
