There's No Hope. . .
Well. It's official.
Hub Man and I are two of a kind.
There is no excuse for us. We are whacked. We are certifiably loony. We are out to lunch, dopey, and clueless.
We have both, in synchronous lame brain harmony.....
Forgotten our own wedding anniversary.
Yep.
It's a fact.
We did.
We have just lost our ability to chide ANYONE for ANY lapse in memory from now on. We have just very effectively put ourselves on the dark end of the bell curve, where we will languish as the lowest of the low until they print a new chart.
But hey, thanks there Dad for sending us the anniversary e-card. Otherwise I would have awakened in the middle of the night, sat bolt upright in bed, two or three weeks from now with the awful awareness that I had forgotten my own wedding day.
This way, I just laughed my head off and called Hub Man on his cell phone and we shared our dopey lunacy together by laughing so hard that my face hurt.
I wonder if we will ever forget another one?
I'm taking bets!

Now for us with fuzzy gray matter ,the best thing is American Greeting Card Forget me not reminders. does lables for Xmas daily event things like apointments and a reminder of B/D Anv.ect. that will repeat each year.
So to prove point I have not missed youand yours B/D or Anv for years. It gives you a 7 day advanced note so there is time .
I would be lost without it.

Yep, you're certifiable. Good thing your Dad sent the e-card. Can't have you waking up in the middle of the night with a horrible realization that you missed something important. Nighmare!

Make that four of a kind! For years, the only way RC and I have remembered our anniversary has been from cards and calls from other people. I think we've remembered it on our own maybe twice in 15 years! Bad, bad, bad.
And Bruce and I aren't much better. We just remember it because we decided to celebrate it on Hallowe'en, instead of the actual day, which is Oct. 29. I think.
There's a lesson here somewhere.

Well one thing is for certain.....you shouldn't ever be troubled by "missed expectations". How lovely to have a mate so compatible that you can be certifiably loony in such perfect harmony. Do you have any idea how rare that is?
