So many things!

The iMac arrived yesterday and I have been up to my pixels in changes. I am living in 'command central' at the moment. Here's what it looks like:

If you KNEW how long it took me to get all my folders all colorful and emojied like that.... well, we won't discuss computer OCD issues okay?

You see that quilt behind my desk? It was made by my sister in law. I love it to pieces. I think it symbolizes me to a 't'. One foot in a Holly Hobby world, and the other in technology. 🫣

When Steve gave us the 'On This Day' option to look back at several entries we have made on the same day years ago, I took a look yesterday at last year's entry. April 1. And there it was, a picture of my front yard with half an inch of snow.

Well guess what happened on April first this year?

Isn't that something?

Life in the mountains.

I'm hoping that the lilac buds which are out haven't been nipped by this cold. I think they may be okay as they are still very tiny. I love those things and look forward to them every year. They only last about two weeks or so at their peak.

Well, this was a test of me posting an entry from the new computer and I have to say, AirDrop is my favorite thing right now. Manipulating photos is something I do almost every day, and to have an Apple ecosystem is going to be pretty sweet going forward I think.

Oh, just as a small point of interest, according to the post counter on my dashboard, this will be my 3500th entry on Dear Diary.

(Are you sure you want to brag about that? It sounds kind of scary to me.... all that drivel over all those years.)

And yet .... here you are.... adding to the pile. What a trooper.
