Well.....
Well, the little Border Collie went to a home
with kids and another doggie friend waiting for her.
I suppose in the grand scheme of things
that is a very good thing for her.
I hope everyone is happy together.
I will admit to a bit of a quivery bottom lip. But not a broken heart.
The words of my Rabbi keep echoing in my head.... "It's all good."

Oh no! Well, I suspect it won't be too long before there is the pitter patter of little feet in your home now that you have the idea of it. I hope it happens sooner than you think it will.

ahh, dear yetzirah, you are indeed a good sport. my sympathies on 'losing' the dog before ever having her and yet, i'm glad too that she has gone to a family filled with kids who will hopefully love her to bits too

I firmly believe God does not make mistakes so all must be as it is supposed to be. That said, I'm sending you a hug and a word or two of encouragement; don't give up the search. Your new best friend is out there somewhere. I'm just sure of it. :)

Just think, if the little Collie was meant to go to a home with children and another dog to play with, then there must be the perfect companion waiting for you right around the next corner,
