Repetitive Art

So I watched a video the other day by a watercolorist that I follow. [CeeCeeCreations] She was talking about what to do when you want to paint, but you just can't focus on anything complicated. She was admitting to feeling a little fragile herself. And so suggested just painting a bunch of leaf shapes all over the paper with only three colors. Then doodling on them. I might call it doing a modified form of Zentangle.
I decided to follow her advice.
She was right.
It was fun.

Though I still have a lot to learn about mixing colors and creating the more refined and subtle ones that she made, it was a very relaxing and delightful thing to do.
Some people are so smart. :-)
