A Little Robbie On A Friday

Today I took the last in my series of art classes. I'm hoping to take another set of them in the near future. But I'll be taking a break for a few weeks.
Our assignment was to draw with pen and ink, an animal of our choice.
For me, this was a no brainer.
I chose Robbie.
He even looks good when an amature tries her hand at painting him....
I was reminded once again while working on this, that of all the Shelties I have ever known personally, or seen photos of, Robbie was THE most handsome.
I miss him still.
He was, as we say in Sheltie Rescue circles, my 'heart dog'.
And part of my heart departed with him when he left us.
I hope I get to see him again one day.
You never know....

I hope so too since I currently have an aging heart dog.

Deb; That is a nice painting of your dog, especially for your first try-WOW. What a beautiful dog Robbie was. I too love my dogs and other animals I have had and miss them. The 2 dogs I have had now for quite some time, I would miss very much, so I understand where you are coming from and sorry for it.
Take care,
Linda
