Because the weather has been so calm over the last few days, my front porch is still in order. I'm enjoying it immensely. It's nice and sunny out there today.

The frosts have begun at last, but because it was so mild for so long, certain flowers here and there had gotten all confused and started blooming again. Poor dears.

Here's a Dianthus that has been a very tenacious bloomer since Spring:

Now that the 'fairy garden' is complete with a proper dog in it, I have begun to collect moss from around the yard to put in it. I have never really tried to propagate moss, so I haven't a clue what I'm doing. I guess I'll just keep laying it around here and there and see what happens. For now, it's rather appealing.

I still wish I had a dog.
