This morning, I woke up quite early and decided to go for a walk. It's very cool here today, considering it's the first day of summer. 45 degrees to be exact. And it's only supposed to be 63 for a high! Weird. But I'm not complaining. Heat is not my friend. Bruce has been pressed into service on the first day of summer. I think that's a record. . . needing a morning fire on June 20th.
Anyway, while out walking I took some pictures of a Wolf tree that is down the road from me. The branches on this tree are as big around as a large tree!
It's hard to get the perspective of how large those branches really are.
It's a Ponderosa Pine.
It's enormous.
It was a big tree when I was a teenager 60 years ago!
Also, the sky was breathtaking this morning.
