You know, its really funny how much we think we know. I asked my friend Alex *finally got a hold of him* and asked him how much he knows about life. He said about a 5. I asked him how much I know, He said alot more. I was a shocked that he thought that. Anyways, I decided to give him and I a rating. I gave him a 0.024. I told him I was being generous too. I gave myself a 0.02401. He thought that I was being a little mean in my assessment. Then I explained to him my perspective.
When you think about it, how much do you REALLY know? You know how to invent anything? Exactly how everything you interact with works. *i.e. the washing machine or tv* Alot of people will say no but say, "I know alot about people" I find that paticular pharase sadly funny. Do you think you know ALL about people with your limited contact with them. Most people probaly never interacted with more than a 1000. Even if you do read books, you still are vastly lacking in your knowledge. There are so many types of people with thier own unique way. Yet, people have the nerve to claim they know how a certain group of people are. People will say, "All Iraqis are like this" and all "white computer nerds are the same". LOL. They got to be kiding. If they interviewed just a small sampling of those people, they'd see that those in that paticular group think and act differently.
Not to mention we're all so biased. We see things totally different. While someone may see a bum as an eyesore, another may see him as the victim of a capitalist society. Still another may see him as Jim, the guy that likes rocks. It could go on and on.
That just covers Earth too. What about outside Earth? The supposely smartest analyst still are baffled about most of what goes on up there. All thier theories are just that, theories. Though some may be closer to the truth than others. The point I'm trying to make is that they still know little about thier own field of expertise. What if I asked them to breakdance or help a dying kid cope with cancer. Could they still do that? So much more that thier limited by. So for anyone to think that "they know" is absurd.
I now understand why many adults have a hard time respecting teenagers. They learn a small fraction of everything and then think they know it all. Ofcourse, I must apply my own theory. What the hell do I know from my own limited experience. The only way I could possibly defend myself is to interview a representive sample of parents and provide the statistics. However, those are available, so I'm going to assume thier not lieing to me. Its a strong possiblity though. Science has a way of completely changing every 500 years or so.
Well, I have to go. I'd love to elaborate on this further, but I have to work soon. Oh yeah, forgot to write that. I got hired by Lil Ceasers pizza. A crappy job, but one that is willing to work with my schedule. Who knows, I may see you there and you may assume I'm some high schooler or a dropout. Careful with those assumptions. And lastly, question everything. Even stuff you think you know. Later

BTW your entry about people being ignorant is extremely true about humans.
I do think there's something left between us, I'll admit that. From things he said in that last email, and the things he listed for why we broke up, we could solve those things so easily if he tried, and we do match up well. Just needs a spark again really.
