you are right -- it is only a desire! God is all you NEED. until you are happy in Him, you won't be happy with friends or girlfriends. but, your relationships will be enhanced through God.

You know, I think you just got a lesson in attention getting.
Thing is, that I've noticed, you're kinda contradictory when it comes to getting attention. You get sad and down when people don't come to you and half expecting them to make the first move, yet you seem downright surprised when they do.
You really should take a lesson from my cats. When they want attention they come right out and get it. They purr, they meow, they act cute and playful .... they essentially show me their true natures and flatter me by wanting MY attention.
I'd say God just did the same thing to you this week. You wanted to know more about Him, so there He was! And no, I don't believe for one second it was just a dream.
Thing is Tino, it seems to me that you're assuming people don't want to be friends with you. You assume they don't want to be friends with you much less get to know you, yet you don't make any moves yourself to let them know that you do. Maybe what they are actually assuming is that since you're off by yourself and being quiet, that's they way you want it?
Might think about it. Everyone has to learn how to fellowship. Everyone. *hint hint* And I do mean myself as well. Trust me, I know how hard it is to approach people and try to start belonging. I still don't know very many people at church. I'm beginning to learn though that I need to stop concentrating on why I am not worth knowing, and concentrate instead on why others ARE worth knowing.
