Treat Me With Respect! *just a lil....just a lil R.E.S.P.E.C.T, FInd out what it means to me.....*
Dear Diary,

Man o man, my mom has no respect for me. All she has been doing lately is just yell about nonsense. When I try to explain to her, she says she don't want to hear it. THen she runs to the bathroom. *like a lil kid* Plus some of my friends come over just so she could start "YELLING" at the top of her lungs just to check up on my lil sis. *after me telling her too* Just cause she is too lazy to get up and look. Another thing, she drinks in front of my friends and she knows I hate that. *SO EMBARRASSING* I think she has more respect for stangers than she does for me. THere is more, just can't think of it off hand. N-E-Ways

Oh, I watched Family Man today on the playstation 2. *at least it does something else besides video games* It was pretty good. *Oh, I don't know if I told ya ppl, but I've been thinking of selling it, I mean, that 200+ it could get could pay for some couchs. *though the playstation 2 is my lil bro's birthday gift* HMMM ANyway, the movie is cool, Though it couldv'e been shorter. 3 stars. They should've put some of the bonus scences in. The bonus scences are funny. After that, I put the lil bro and sis alsleep. *my mom went with her Boyfriend* Then I played some FF8. I'm a lil lost. :) Oh well. Still love it. :) Oh, Thanks Jane for that entry.

Wow... Your diary entries really gave me something to think about... It's true, I've often complained about such nonsense stuff without realising how blessed I am to have all that I have (which is ENOUGH). Well, it's given me so much to think about, and has completely changed my perspective on life. Thanks for that!

Love,
Caitlin

Yeah I know what you mean about people getting their problems blown out of proportion. I think everyone does that sometimes, I know I certainly do! I think every now and then you need something or someone to remind you just how much worse it could be, plus to have a bit of cyncism about yourself.

Re: My problems for your problems, DEAL?

tinoz I honestly believe that until you have experienced things first hand its really dang hard to compare it. For example you say that people complain about things, and they really shouldn't because they have it pretty good, all things considered.

To a rich kid living in the 'burbs, two parent family and food whenever they want, not getting the latest video game or clothing fahion is a big thing. There is no basis for comparison, and to hold that against them isn't right.

Until that person experieces the pain of abuse, or the rumble and ache of a hungry belly... then their problems will always seem big.

It's not until most people get a little older and start paying their own bills and they start working and seeing things in a new perspective that they can look back and fully appreciate what they have. Apreciation and gratitude never come too late to anyone. Rich or poor.

I send you a vision of a canyon hazy and blue and spread for miles, carpeted with a lush forest and a blue sky above as far as the eye can see. Above a bird flying high and free on the cool crisp and fresh breeze, I send you a feeling of contentment in whatever you do this day.

Tonight you shall be in my prayers.

:)

Tino,
I understand where you are coming from.
You do make a good point.
I have asked the same questions you are asking.
Why don't they help the poor get on their feet.
Why don't they help the homeless.
Why don't they open a large campground for the homeless & poor ppl who do not want help. Because some of them do refuse to be helped.
But those who really want it, should get it!

But I do feel that our government is out for the wealthy.
I am by no means wealthy. We live wk by wk and we are comforable. We are one of the few lucky ones.
But me & hubby did grow up just a hair away from being what we call 'dirt poor'.
Well, enough about me.
