Today started with me getting a ride to school. That's good but bad in the fact my mom's job is low on work. Anyways, I arrive on campus and talk to some of my friends. After that, I go to my class and find out what I got on the mid-term exam. I got a very disappointing 18/40. Class average was 23/40. That kinda got me down for awhile. After that, I get out of class.
I go to hangout some more with my friends. We later decide to get some Jack in the box. Actually, me and Gevel pick up the food for the girls. *jeff didn't show up today* On the way, Gevel showed me the engagement ring he got for his girl. *wow, is a lil soon for that, 3 months together* We get to Jack and the box to find he lost the money. I end up paying for it. He says he'll pay me back. Poor guy, he's so stressed. We also see Donald there. We get back and eat.
Me and Donald then hang out kinda away from the group. Was cool. I think were starting to be REALLY good friends. :) Anyways, I call home and my mom is ready to pick me up.
She picks me up and takes me to Medical center. I get blood drawn and a testostorone shot. *appointment next week* I get home to find new stuff here. Seems my mom spent some money on some new stuff. So I go in my room and go on the internet. That is when I find out that my little sister found out my "secret website". I asked her how, she told me that my lil bro told her. *grr, he told me he wouldn't tell anyone* So I asked her not to tell anyone. She said she wouldn't. *SHE BETTER NOT* I told her that one day maybe I'll read some stuff to her. Just don't go on without me. She agreed and left my room. After that, I typed this up.
Man, I dunno if I really want my little sister to be reading some of the entries I wrote. She's old enough to know alot but still. *12 years old, almost 13* I don't know how I'm gonna approach this. I know I can't ban her from here cause she'll only want to read it even more. I can't exactly let her pick entries. Even with me showing her some, she still may read others without permission. Grrrr, what a pandora's box! Well, its hot and I'm bushed, so I'm off. THat is all. ~END~

hey there stranger!
I know what you mean about your sister reading your diary... You will figure out what to do.

Still, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing. It would be a way be more open with her. It's rather odd, but in many ways our diaries make us more well known to strangers than to our own families.

I realize your circumstances and experience have given you a different view on things. In a lot of cases friends may be much closer to you than your parents, but God doesn't say "Honour your parent only if you like them or approve of what they do."
Pray on it.
Having friends is one thing, being a friend is another.
I agree that he should not go against his mom. But when you do things for your friends, you should not expect anything back in return.
What he does or with whom he does with his money, I understand that bothers you.
That should also tell you where you stand as a friend with him.
A true friend would think of you first, but
You cannot force a person to be a true friend.
I am sorry that he treated you this way.
I have also been in your shoes.
Peace & Love,
Honey
Sorry to say this, but i guess it's just how i feel.
Some people are brought up to do what their parents want them to do until they leave home. It's just the way life is. You can't get angry at Jeff just because he wants to do what his mother wants him to do. But also, his mother doesn't really have a right to tell him who his friends can and can't be!
I dunno...
Guess we all will learn from life!
