This psychology class is about "Creativity, Intuition and Problem Solving". Though the class focuses more on just helping you be you. It also has this New Age spin on it. Its like I got an older version of Darma *from Darma and Greg, TV show* as a professor. We typically talk about stuff like expressing yourself through art, creative movement, and various exercises to help "find" yourself. We also sit in circles. LOL!!! Its nice though. Anyways, I signed up to "share my inspirations" with the class. I picked a picture of me in my cap and gown when I was about to graduate from high school. I also picked the book kaliko sent me, "A Case for Faith by Lee Strobel" and a pic of me jumping off the side of a mountain into a waterfall. *oh yes, my favorite pic* I explain that the pic is inspirational because when I took that pic, I hadn't graduated from high school yet. I was doing bad my senior year and thought I'd fail and the pic would be for nothing. I passed and it reminds me that I can make it.
I explained the book as something a friend from online gave me. I explained how I was really lost and the book has helped me. I then talk about the pic. How it reminds me to have fun and that I should take a few more risks.
The experience was nice and had a few questions about my tumor. *yeah, brought that up* Afterwards, the class was told to go into 2 circles while standing up. Then we rotated and talked to others. People liked my presentation. *really informal really* They thought I had a lot of energy and stuff. Usually the opposite of what people think of me. It was nice, actually felt like I was being myself.
Its the weirdest class I've ever taken. Ofcourse it isn't religous, but seems to try to touch on the issues. I'm glad I'm in it.
Oh and guess what, I GOT THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I will be living near Alex. The place is so nice. OMGosh. Hopefully quiet too. The job Michelle has applied for called her and it seems like she is gonna get it. So things are looking up for now. That's all for now, LATER
