Going through the news as usual and found another poor rich people story. Struggling to get by People making over $250,000 a year really do have it tough. Guy in the story only has a modest vacation home and only 2,500 square feet regular house and on top of it all, the Obama tax increase will make it harder for him to pay for his kids private school. God forbid he might, gasp, have to send them to public school and has to be skittish with renovating his house. This self titled "upper working class" just can't afford another 3% in taxes. I mean, then one can't move into one of the most exclusive areas in the country. (Silicon Valley) I think instead, we should give these top 2% (who by the way don't even feel rich) a break. Jeeze Luiz, can't we sacrifice our desires for basic health coverage, better food and product inspectors and unemployment compensation so they can have a lower deductible on their health plan. If not for the parents, do it for the kids. Don't send lil Billy to a public school, he'll learn curse words there.

Mr. Duran and his wife "are barely getting by on [a meager] $400,000 a year"! Then why are we increasing the taxes on people who only make $250,000 a year. Selfish veterans, firefighters, policeman and social workers and the like need to understand that these people are taxed enough and that they just need to suck it up and brace for the hard times, even if that means a couple of people have to be let go. Sure, fires will spread to more homes, police response times will increase and poverty will increase, but we gotta ensure that the upper working class wages stay ahead of rising college and health care costs. To hell with what us other 98% need, they want to feel rich and damnit, they deserve it. They are Taxed Enough Already! I mean, we all seen how great the country does when the rich get taxes breaks like they did during George W. Bush's stint. Can't you tell? It's all trickling down, just you wait.

They just put the extra savings from their tax cuts in their savings account.

WHO SAID THAT? LIES! They reinvested that extra 3%, its how the economy grew. Cut their taxes more and it'll trickle down even more.
