You could feel her smile over the phone as she spoke with glee about now working in the (school) district office; doing paperwork. It suites her personality and has better restaurants nearby. Plus, no more coming home with deep scratches or bite marks. This makes me happy as she'll come home in a better mood. Think your day at work is tough, try doing that huh.
Besides that, things are going ok. I've been watching "the office" episodes for atleast a week straight. I started with season 1 and now near the end of season 3. I had just started watching season 5 when I decided that I wanted to watch every episode, so I found a way to procure just that. *hehehe* Man, I love that show. Rainn Wilson is so convincing as Dwight. I almost believe he really is that way. And Pam and Jim make such a cute couple. So yea, if you have the chance, you should try the show out. Its really funny. And if you haven't watched Slumdog Millionaire, I dunno what you're waiting for. It is really good. You HAVE to see it. I mean, you'd really have to be quite the cynic to not like it.
Checking out the news and seems there are some bright spots in the economy. Not sure how I feel about that honestly. I mean, we Americans have really propped ourselves up by being coaxed into this ideology of needing more and more; to the point of spending money we didn't have. Somehow, we need to break out of this cycle of trying to purchase happiness. If anything, I think people should try to find a way to work fewer hours. Sure, you'd have less stuff. But, you'd have more time and less stress. I mean, wow, is this stuff really worth your mental health? You even lose your social life as your so exhausted from working that you don't have the energy to hang out. Then what, you plant yourself in front of the television, being told what a loser you are and how only more stuff can make you happy. My goodness, stop worshiping this false god. Stop trying to escape into your fantasies and start going out there and living it; instead of watching others or some freakin' avatar do it. Want real change. Obama or no other politician is gonna do it for you. Come on, "make it happen, cap't."
I think everyone knows logically atleast, that money and tv and all this bull isn't happiness. It is said so much that it becomes one big cliche. But at some point, you're gonna actually have to stop listening and start doing. My question to you is "What is holding you back"?

And sorry, not interested in The Office. Actually, my taste in shows might horrify you right now. Hulu.com has a lot posted including some of my old favorites. And I mean old - The Big Valley, Battlestar Galactica Classic, Hawaii Five-O, Buck Rogers, Hart to Hart. I'm in TV heaven!
