Sat Feb 12 2005 - Money this and that
Money this and that
The week hasn't been so bad. Me and Michelle have gotten along most of the time. Nothing super signifigant going on.

The main topic this week is money. The week started off with Romaro asking to borrow money again! I lent it to him, after he signed another contract. *oh yeah, I watch People's court* Even though I really don't have money to really lend. I'm not sure how he don't have money. He works and gets disability. His girl gets disability too. I guess they're horrible savers. I get less money than them, yet me and Michelle are great savers. I mean, I guess if they NEED it. Though he better not make it a habit. I really don't like lending, especially after Eliza didn't pay back my $60 a couple years ago. *too bad I didn't make her sign a contract* However, I did manage to get him to move my stuff to my new apartment when I move. *on the 20th* So I did have an alterior motive. They have a car and access to a truck. So we'll see how that goes. A lil more risky than I like to be. But if he don't do his part, I'll see him in court.

Also had to apply for scholorships on Friday. It was due at 4:00 PM and that is what time me and Michelle turned it in. Even though we got started on it at around 12:30. Had to write an essay, have 2 letters of recommendation and a unofficial transcript. Sounds easy enough. Then you got to make 12 copies, one for each scholorship you applied to. Then you find out there is a specific order. Then you got to fill out this application. *BLAH BLAH BLAH* Michelle was very frantic. We got it turned in and all is well. Though Michelle still worries that she didn't fill in one part. *then its void* Now she got me paranoid and I want to check it on Monday.

As of now, I'm waiting for some back pay from the finacial aid people. When the money rolls in, I want to buy a new computer. My current 6 year old one is starting to really fail. Atleast it was worth the $1000 I paid for it.

In other news, I was furious at my boss. He refused to write me a letter of recommendation. He said he needed a minimum of 2 weeks notice. That is a bunch of shit. The letter takes MAYBE 30 minutes. While he is busy, I'm sure he could find time if we were dating. Or maybe not even that, if I was his good friend or something. Maybe if I was related. Some people are just full of crap. No one is really totally busy. I never buy that. People make time for priorities. Say 3 hours was needed of you to pick up a check worth $10,000. Now you got the time, don't you. Let's say your anniversity is coming up, you got time for that too. Time is available when you need it, most of the time. The only time it isn't available is when your sleeping. Even then, if some big exam were coming up, I'm sure you could use some of the time to study. Most people are just so selfish. If no personal benefit, then oh well. Its a hard principle to live by, but doing unselfish things should be a way of life. I still don't do enough though. I could volunteer at an animal shelter on the weekends. I could do some good for the community or something. Instead, I sit on my lazy ass and watch TV. Even though there is nothing to watch on the weekends. I'm so disgusted with human nature. God has every right to wipe us out. If he tossed us all in hell, he'd be justified. Luckily, he is bigger than that. *atleast according to Christian doctrine* Hopefully, he picks me and few others to go to heaven or wherever that's not here because if this is it, this REALLY SUCKS! I'm out

I'm not going to touch the human nature stuff right now. It's been too crappy a week for me to be even slightly nice about it.

As for the computer, dude, you really should build your own. I bet you my hubby could work up a list for a decent (not radically cool) system that would cost $500 or less. Heck, even with shipping, we could build it and send it to you and it would still be way cheaper than $1000 bucks. The most expensive part is the monitor, but if yours is working okay, I'd just keep it to save the moola for an upgrade or two.
