He's almost 4 months now (will be on the 28th of the month) He is hitting all his milestones on time. He smiled in his second month and smiles all the time at me and Michelle, as well as his mobile bears and his bottle! He finally started to grasp toys about 2 weeks ago. He started vocalizing maybe 3 weeks ago. The sounds he makes are actually correlated with his mood. When he has whiney vocalizations, its best to start picking him up lest he gets louder. He doesn't really cry anymore, but does this complaining noise. One of the cool things he does is that when you change him he raises his legs. He did this at 2 months and I'm always happy that he does it once his diaper comes unbuckled. He loves to be changed actually. This is a far cry from his first month when he would scream at the top of his lungs. I almost felt like "Am I doing something wrong here" But as me and Michelle continued to pet him and talk nicely to him he has come to smile when being changed. He also likes bath time. If he sees me splashing, he starts to splash. Its also quite amusing to see him trying to grab the running water. I tell him "you can't grap that!" That doesn't stop him though.
He does really well with strangers. Ms. Fong said that would change but I don't think it will. He doesn't smile too much at them like he does with us but he doesn't scream either. He finally is sleeping through the night and is generally easy to please as long as you feed him as soon as he wakes, burp him, hold him, change after 30 minutes, let him watch a lil tv and then carry him to the mirror, which he absolutely loves. In early childhood development class, it is taught that it is not until 1 1/2 years old that children can recognize themselves in the mirror, but I feel that he does know it's him because he gives himself a big gigantic grin. The next big thing that I'm trying to teach him is to hold his own bottle. Every time I feed him, I try to put his hands on there and he had held it a couple of times but then when I move, he wants to follow me and loses concentration and drops it. He also doesn't quite roll yet, he more rotates like a clock and only very slowly. You wouldn't even notice he's moving once till you note that you started over there and now he's slowly over in a diff location.
As for me, it is my birthday. My mom got me a video game (yes I still play those), I basically helped her purchase it through amazon. Its not even out yet, its Star Wars: the force unleashed with a light saber for the Wii. Yup, I decided to blow some money and get a Wii. I sometimes think I don't care about saving, I just want to enjoy my life a bit more. As long as I can afford keeping everyone fed w/ a roof over there heads, it's all good. Anyhow, there is that and I'm wondering if anyone else is getting me anything. This year I got a lot of people gifts and am wondering if anyone will actually return the favor. My siblings have been notorious for not getting something ever, despite the fact that every year I have got them something. Not that I need something, but some sort of something would be nice, especially the fact that they do have thier own money. If I don't get atleast a card, I'm giving up on them in regards to a gift. And Ray....well he should atleast call me. But whatever, I don't care either way that much. What happens happens I guess. I'm so ready to give up on people now. I have Michelle and lil Tinoz and perhaps they are all I need. Would like to believe in God and all, but I think pursuing him or it is probaly just a delusion. No one can prove he's there because they're not even sure. Anyhow, I think I will not bring up my doubt anymore unless I see a really compelling case for God. Till then, its time to start enjoying these moments. I can't wait to pick up lil Tinoz from his grandma's today. Knowing he loves me makes it all better. I know he accepts me just the way I am and keeping him is probaly the best thing for me. (though not sure what I want to teach him about God and stuff..I guess I still have time to think about that path) Anyways, I'm off to shower and then to my mom's. Have yourself a great day and do what you know you should be doing.

Happy birthday dear Tinoz.
Happy birthday to you!
Your son is so cute :)
I'm sure they DO recognise themselves in the mirror, mine used to get the giggles at 6 months in front of the mirror.
Sounds like you're enjoying the little moments with Lil' T and Michelle. Good. There's lots of them and every one is precious. :)
And I wouldn't worry too much about the Wii. We're almost solidly WoW freaks now (or hubby is anyway), so no time for other video games, but we do like them. And from what I hear from several coworkers and friends, who are most definitely NOT gamers or video game freaks, love theirs. It really is a family fun thing. I have no doubt you'll all get the most fun out of it. All of you, together. How is that a bad investment of money? ;-)
