After the service, there was a big feast in the back since it was Friends Day. I see Alex and Jose. Jose has this girl that he brought. They're "friends" for now but later told me that they're taking it slow. *which implies they're going out, plus they hugged twice and sat alone* Anyways, I sit with Alex and Michelle. THey give out some plate of turkey, mashed potatos and sweet potato. I only eat the turkey and thinks seems to be nice. I then want some dessert. They have these nasty pumpkin treats. I don't want any of that but do want some whipped cream they have. So I get a plate and put some on it. Then there goes the pastor's wife. *unbeknowst to me at the moment* So this blonde older lady yells "That is way too much!!!" *there is atleast 10 canisters of whipped cream there* The lady is right next to me and says it loud enough for someone 20 feet away to hear in a semi-loud environment. I say, "Excuse me, don't yell at me like I'm your son." She continues to yell, "I don't care, you can't take that much" I took about as much as probaly 2 people would get. Besides, what could I do, put it back in the bottle? I say, "You should have more respect for others." I then walk away and she is angry.
I go back to my table and Michelle asks me what happened. Then Alex informs me that she was the pastor's wife. I reply to him, "I don't care who she is, she shouldn't have said it like that. I don't disagree with what she is mad about, its the way she said it. I'm sure if she thought I was older, she probaly would've made some passive agressive joke instead." So Michelle is upset that the situation happened. SHe keeps looking at her and apparently she is telling other people the story. So she then passes out other snacks. She has the whipped cream too. She offers some to others at our table but not me or Michelle. She then tells the other people at the table that, "It was wrong for me to take the whipped cream" I inform her that they don't know me either and she just storms off. Michelle doesn't feel comfortable and wants to leave. Shortly afterwards, we leave.
My mom catchs me on the way out and ask what the comotion was about. *yeah she was there but at a different table* I tell her and she says that she overreacted over such a petty thing. Like I said, I don't necessarily disagree with her, but for someone as old as her, I'd think she'd be more respectful. Other than that, the day goes by rather mundanely.
