Sinus Infection, side effects and more
Not sure where to start right now. Lots of things are going on. Important and trivial. I guess I'll start by covering the title.

About a week ago, my little sister told me that she was getting treated for a sinus infection. I guess she was coughing blood or something bizarre like that. They gave her some amoxicillin and I thought that would be the end of that. However, she says she gets really jittery at night and can't sleep. She said she had completely forgot how to get to her classes she's been going to for a month and forgot other stuff she usually knows. So I told her to stop taking the pills and talk to her doctor. Her headaches came back. So now I'm not sure what is going on. I tried calling her but she hasn't picked up her phone. I'm really worried about her. I had very similar symptoms when I found out about my tumor. And so far, they won't give her a MRI. I am hoping it all turns out ok because having a tumor and all that is obviously not cool.

Another thing about my sister is that she is really focusing on school. I hope she really is. We had a REALLY good talk about why its in her best interest to get good grades while in high school and not give in to peer pressure and try to be all cool or something. Its especially hard for her being that she was popular in middle school and all her friends are in high school. So I'll see.

Been having more talks with Sam. Being the christian that he is, that is all he talks about. Though I think it'd be better that he not just focus on that. I have a way of disproving whatever he says. He is not an informed christian. He has beliefs but he is very naive. He is not fully aware of why things are the way they are. Ok, let me give some examples. He thinks we're at war with Iraq simply because they are "evil" and house terrorist. I informed him that we were suppose to be there because they supposely had "weapons of mass destruction". When that came up blank, Bush said, "Saddam helped those that attacked us on 9-11. (Al-Queda)" When no link was established then we were there to "give Iraqi's freedom". Even though they didn't and don't want our help. They are glad Saddam isn't there but want to govern ourselves. So then he says we're doing the right thing by giving them thier freedom. I asked him, "What if Iraq was stronger than us and put our president in jail and then had the nerve to say how we should run our country" I went on to say that we'd probaly do very similar things.

Then I asked who he's going to vote for. He said Bush. I said, "Why?" He said, "So we can stop abortions." That sounds nice. Who's into killing babies anyways? But, there are too many problems with stopping abortion. I had to remind him of the past when abortion was illegal in many states. People were getting abortions anyways, but by inproperly trained physicians. That resulted in deaths by both the mother and the baby. I mean, in my own life if I knew someone wanted an abortion, I'd try to find ways so they could have the baby. But I think its not right to step in people's ways and put laws so that people have to go underground. And, as Michelle pointed out, "Who's going to happen to the baby once it's born? Since the mom didn't want it in the first place, do you put the kid in an orphanage? GTG........................
