Well, the day started pretty good. Woke up, told lil bro and sis I wanted to take them rollerskating. So we get ready and my mom gets us a ride from her boyfriend's friend Ruben. While outside, I go to car waiting out there and try to open. Door is stuck. I tell him to open, he won't. So I keep pulling and motioning him to open. He eventually rolls down his window. That is when I realize I was getting in the wrong car, that car was waiting on the neighbors. *Everyone laughed alot* So I get in the RIGHT car and go.
We get to the skating rink and get rollerblades for me and lil sis. Lil bro gets regular skates. So we go in and skate. Was alot of fun. I was zooming past everyone and getting a great workout too. So after awhile, they annouce that they are gonna have an activity. THe activity, racing. So first the smaller kids go. Eventually it's time for the bigger guys. SO we line up. I'm nervous. So we go. I zoom ahead. I round 2 cones. I fall into second then decide to speed up. *BIG MISTAKE* My left skate moved the wrong way as I was about to round the corner. I then fall directly on my left knee. *all my body weight on that one knee* I get up. PAIN! Just like last time. *refer to entry entitled,Utter pain, agony* I try to walk it off, it isn't happening. I knew my day was up. I tell lil bro and sis to get ready. They do. Good thing too, fights started to break out. The lil kids couldn't handle themselves. So we walk to bus. I'm in pain, so much so, I didn't realize how many times I cussed till my lil sis told me not to anymore. *man, how could I cuss like that in front of them* I was in alot of pain. We go home.
Here at home, my mom is like, "again"? I tell her story and she tells me I shouldn't skate so fast. I get my old knee immobilizer and put it on. I also get my crutches. *here we go again* I spent rest of the day taking pills and resting.

as far as swearing in front of your younger siblings, it's something I had trouble with too until the last couple of weeks, but I managed to pretty much overcome it with a lot of prayer, and by talking to them about it too; explaining that everyone loses control sometimes. I found the thing was just to not let myself even think a swear word, and any time I was even tempted to think or say one to just shut my mouth and say a quick prayer (my gran calls them arrow prayers hehe, it's a nice iamge; as soon as satan starts to tempt you just send a quick prayer straight to God (express delivery lol) asking for immediate assistance ;-))
Everyone has ups and downs in their christian life.. with regard to your front page, I used to think that a lot; "I wish I was a better christian, I used to be on fire, what happened?", but I spoke to my youth leader at the time and he explained it pretty well.. everyone has ups and downs, just keep going.. make sure you don't have any consistent sin in your life you can get rid of (and if you do, sort it out; God can't work in you if you're not 'in tune' with him).. I wonder if you've ever heard of the alpha course? I'm doing one at the minute (and will be leading one after easter - eek!), I've learnt a lot from it. Try and attend one if there's one running near you, and if there isn't I'd reccommend you get the book Questions of Life by Nicky Gumble; it's the whole course in the form of a book
