So I'm reading yahoo news right and seems good ol' Congress is working on something just oh so important. Its an amendment to stop flag burning. Yeah, I do think it is wrong to burn the flag no matter how much you hate the country. The things is, why is the Congress/Senate spending time on this bill at all?Don't we have more urgent issues to deal with such as affordable healthcare, fixing social security, rising gasoline prices, etc. Spending time debating this bill is just a waste of tax payer's money.

I would guess its about raising thier populairity. Still, I just wish our society would stop wasting valuable time debating unimportant things like this and the Terry Schivo thing. There is a lot at stake and we got a bunch of clowns trying to secure their money.

I'm sorry, I just had to vent because its just annoying seeing American politicians only worried about thier bottom line.
