Yesterday was a just another day. Couple of arguements and a late dinner. So, after all that I went online. I went on to chat. Wow, my buddy list was lit up. Almost all of them were online. Except mines from here at DD. Seems most of you come on when I sleep. I actually had a confrence online. *confrence is when you have multiple ppl come into your pm* Wow, it feels so good to have ppl who know you all in the same chat room. It was great. We laughed, talked bout other stuff. Guess I was happy cause it's been a while since I've talked to ppl I know. I'm so isolated where I am. My friends barly talk to me any more. :( Guess you ppl online are my only friends now. Which is good and bad I guess. Good cause you ppl give good advice and make me laugh. Bad cause I can't actually see if your being sincere. Also, online hugs don't compare to real ones. THough online ones are nice. * I love seening em though, ((((tinoz))))* :) Whoever made that one up is pretty clever.
I think I should get one of them imood.com things. Where you put your mood online. I like seeing them on other ppl's pages. Today's mood would be, somewhat happy. Cause that's how i feel. Happy that I got ppl online that care, but sad that almost no one does in the "real" world.
Another thing I've been thinking about is my christianity. Trying to figure out if I'm a good christian or a bad one. Some say I'm a good person. Yeah, but does that get one into heaven. Some have said that as long as I go to church and study and be good that it's good enough. Well, I don't know about that either. Why, well I'm pretty sure GOD wants us to do more for him. And works, I know they don't get you into heaven either. Though I think it helps. And pure faith, does just saying you believe in heaven make you go to heaven. Hmm. I think I feel this way goes I want to be on fire for him but I'm not. Trying to figure out how. And how to stay on fire for him. ANy comments and suggestions welcomed.

It's not easy, though. People all think that they know what God wants you to do, like they have him on their buddy list or something!
The Bible says we are saved by GRACE THROUGH FAITH not of our own works! You can NEVER be 'good' enough to get into heaven so quit QUIT quit QUIT quit tarnishing the gift of God by thinking you can earn it by being a good person. Revelation says our righteousness is as filthy rags.
Now for the flipside of this point. Since our good works don't get us into heaven --- our bad works can't keep us out. See, our salvation has absolutely NOTHING to do with our WORKS!!! Our works are the EVIDENCE of our love to God. That is all they are.
I know God finds our desire to earn heaven offensive and he finds our lack of faith in His ability to save us heart-breaking. The only thing He wants is your 100% attention and your genuine love for Him.
God knows those who are His; those who desire to know Him and love him. It's all about sincerity. He reads your heart. All we must do is love Him sincerely and respond to His voice. Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice..." If you've accepted Jesus as your Savior and you love Him with all your heart that is all you must do to be saved. It really is that simple.
See, when you love Him with your whole heart, you will WANT to do that which is right and true. Through His prophet, Ezekial (I think it was Ezekial) God promises to give you a new heart and throw your stony heart away. Then you will want to obey. It's God's job to change your heart - not YOUR job. Your job is to SEEK after HIM. Then let HIM change YOU. IT isn't the other way around. You don't change then go to Him. That is like a sick person trying to get well before he goes to the doctor!
Relationship with God is like this:
Say you married a woman. Do you think she would be impressed if you were faithful to her because it was against the law to commit adultry but in your heart you were wanting every beautiful woman you saw? You refrained from 'doing bad' Shouldn't she be happy then?
I think this woman would be deeply offended and heart-broken. I would want MY husband to remain faithful to me because he LOVED me deeply and didn't WANT to cheat on me. In this case his love is the driving behavior, not the 'law'.
This is what the Bible teaches. I am not a 'Christian' but I've accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and I know my sincerity towards the center of my universe. I fear for 'Christians' --- They are some of the most condemning, self-absorbed, bickering people I've ever met. Ghandi once said that if Christians lived the way they tell everyone else to live ~ there wouldn't be any Hindu's left in INDIA!
Ghandi wasn't a 'Christian' and yet, I know he was one of God's very own. God wants YOU Tinoz, not your pathetic works. When you let God consume you - it is then when your life 'works' will change.

After all that has been said above, there is nothing left for me to say......
except,
You are a good person, with a good heart.
God sees that, and so do others!
