My eldest grandchild decided that I should have a chance to visit with my son down here in Westminster. I spent a couple days with her, eating very well and visiting the company she and her husband operate. They do the illustrations you see in the real estate section for new homes for sale. It's all computerized now, and fascinating to watch how the techs take the info from the contractors and create what essentially look like water color renditions of the property. Kim and husband are back in New York now receiving an award for best presentation. Whooeee!!! I can hardly wait to hear from her when they get back.

Now with son Andrew, mostly just relaxing. Still eating in restaurants as nobody seems to want to cook. Ah, well. Went to IHOP today and had luscious banana-macadamia nut pancakes. Don't know what's for dinner, though.

Flew Southwest this time. Love that airline. They're always (at least in my experience) on time leaving and arriving. I'll be returning home tomorrow.

Andrew drove around the old neighborhood. Lots of changes, but then I've been away over 20 years, so I guess change is to be expected. However, the grade school and middle school remain unchanged from the time my kids attended. I could get lost easily since the city has changed so much.

I hope Netscape is prompt in sending me a disk so I can get online again. I divorced Microsoft, and tried to install Netscape, but it kept hanging up just when they were about to give me dial-up phone numbers. I hope the disk will work better. I have a temporary AOL line, but I'm not giving out that address because I expect to have a Netscape address by the time I'm next on DD, and AOL will be cancelled.

I still have my Yahoo address, and any of you who have that address are encouraged to use it. But Netscape will be my preferred address. Eventually.

So, until I get home, and a new address, this is it for now.

Shalom

I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself. You'll have to give us some restaurant reviews! Have a great time down there, and enjoy what is probably cooler weather than up here.
    Love,

I'm eager to try those pancakes. I'm not a pancake person, but with how yummy those sound I can definitely make an exception!

    Dear Chaya,

What a great time you are having! Banana macadamia nut pancakes sound sinfully delicious. But probably too fattening for me!

    Love to all the family!

    Love,
