Today's quote from 1000 Reasons...

The world is your kindergarten.
Thanks for inviting me to play.

My daughter tells me I'm the oldest teenager she knows. I think Dick Clark holds that title, but I'm willing to share it with him.

However, this quote says something else.

Teenagers have some concept of the world about them. Kindergarteners are still the center of their world. They've learned some practical things, but most of the world is still new.

I'm still finding new wonders.

Playtime is whenever. The dust on the furniture will be there tomorrow.

Shalom

I think dusting is my most hated thing to do.. I can't see much point in pushing dust around and into the air.. But, if you use polish it seems to attract more dust..
    :O
it sure will be there tomorrow.. My trouble is I have so many things to dust.. If I boxed everything up and put it away, then only had flat surfaces it would be so much easier.. and so dull! and boring
    ;)
I remember Kindergarten as the most confusing time of my life

    Dear Chaya,

But what if doing your job or cleaning house IS play to you? What if it is fun, and fulfilling, and you look forward to doing it each day? Wouldn't it be just grand if everyone felt that way, my friend?

I remember as a child how much I love cleaning my room, raking the yard, washing my shoes and cleaning my bike. I remember enjoying feeding my rabbits and cleaning out their cage. I remember going giddy with joy over the library books I bring home each week, and taking such good loving care of them and repairing the ones that were damaged by careless hands. I remember loving every moment of picking up litter and rescuing bugs on my walks as a child.

As such, I don't think I've ever stopped playing, Chaya. My idea of fun may be different from others, but if it makes me happy, then who's complaining?

    Lots of Love,
    E.L.
