I can't believe it....

According the the Weather page in the Sacramento Bee, it's supposed to be 102 degrees in Portland, Oregon tomorrow.  MELT DOWN!!!  98 today.  Tell me it isn't so!!!

Today, in Sacramento, it's already 103, and the only room in my apartment that's cool is the living room. Guess where my computer isn't.

    We've had extremely unusual weather here over the last 10 days or so with the highs in the high 70s and low 80s. That's unheard of this time of year as this is usually our hot time with it not being unusual for the heat index to hit 110-115. I've had the windows open since last Friday. I did just put them down a little while ago and turned the air back on because it was 80 in the house with no breeze stirring and 100% humidity (rain is a-comin', thank goodness) but I'm certainly not complaining!

    It is 98 here right now and will reach 100 by 6pm when we top out. Whew.

    RYC - I don't know why I'm going to your spam folder. The same thing happens to DB3. Bobbie isn't getting my notifies either and I'm thinking it maybe happening with her, too.

    We only get that hot up here for a day or two, I can remember once it lasted 4 days. It never lasts for long!
