Hangin' in there
Sun Jun 21 2009

I haven't been doing updating because there's nothing much to tell. I have some good days--mornings, that is--and some bad days. Seems like too much repetition to write the same thing every day.

I currently have an amoebic or bacterial infection in the gut, and I'm taking a high-power antibiotic for the problem. Info sheet that comes with the prescription says that the infection is not uncommon following abdominal surgery.

I don't think you want the details of the daily multi-elimination problems. I'll just say that Imodium is my good friend.

Thanks to my sister and my grandson, I have plenty of reading material.

BTW: Grandson, Happy Father's Day. For you who don't know, he's the father of My Baby, the gorgeous little redhead.

Bless

So good to see your post. I was a tad worried, but you are in charge of healing long road. Ms Daisy is battling a back problem for last couple weeks and it is not improving so another visit to Dr. is in store.I hope the pills get the infection cleared up and you feel better fast.

Glad to see you making a post. I'd started to wonder if I should call to see how you were doing. Might do that tomorrow anyway, just to be on the safe side.

So glad to see your post and that you are hanging in there and healing, although slowly.
Will pray for an even quicker recovery.

Sorry to hear about the gut bug. Be sure to eat lots of yogurt, to make sure you repopulate your intestines with Good bacteria, after taking all those antibiotics.

I know you're getting tired of the monotony, but it Is good that you've updated. (And BAD that I've been so absent myself, I know!)

Funny, isn't it? It may not be quite the thing, socially, to talk about "tootin' and poopin'", but when someone you care about has lost those functions and then gets them back, hearing about it is music to your ears!

    Love and hugs,
    Ani

Isn't it true that we always want what we can't have! I hope the infection is OVER soon. I'm sure it's not fun or pretty. Once that's over you will be out of the woods and on your way to feeling normal once again. I had something to send you as well, it's going to have to wait now until a week after the move as coming up with first month's rent is going to break me (but worth it)! I have been thinking of you, just caught up in the anxiety of yet more changes in my life, although they definitely are very good ones.
    Lots of love,
    Anne
