I'm still not sure if Dr K is ready to be released from probation, but he did do one thing that I asked for. I'm being referred to a doctor who can check the condition of the stent that another doctor put in way back in December of '05. He also ordered STAT blood work, so I stopped in at the lab next door to his office. He said if there's any bleeding, the lab report would show it.  Got the report back already a couple hours ago. Everything is fine, even the hemoglobin.  I'm chronically anemic, so it appears that the 325 mg of ferrous sulfate that I take every other day is doing its work. That's good news!

Dr K is insisting that I stay on the prednisone, but I want to get off it.  Oh, and I'm back on 

I just got a call from my sister.  In the hospital.  She's OK, but her car is totaled. A guy in a pickup made a left turn in front of her. She was able to avoid a head-on, but her car is totaled, and she doesn't know where it was towed off to. I told her to call the Police or Sheriff station, whichever came to the scene, and they can tell her where the car is.  Her cane is in the car.  Anyway, she'll call me later tonight after she gets home, and give me more details.

Anyway, back to my doctor visit.  He put me back on blood pressure med. Gone up a few notches, again.  If I didn't take my pills with liquids, I'd rattle; instead, I slosh.
