Not really much to talk about, but if I don't get on here once in awhile, I start getting notes from people asking if I'm all right.

So, yeah, I'm all right.

One of my neighbors (B) has a son (G) a year younger than Rowena, and they've become great buddies.  Rena wasn't supposed to come this weekend, but G had plans for next weekend, so B drove out to Rena's home and brought her for the weekend.  The two wandered from here to there, but I saw very little of Rena.  She'll be coming back home with me after Thanksgiving dinner, and no matter what, she's spending some time with ME!

See my doctor tomorrow. and I made a list of all the medications I'm on, with their common side effects, and with their interactions with other meds or medical conditions.  See if I can get off some of that stuff.  I'm taking a couple things that I think are fighting with each other.

The weather here has been uncommonly nice.  Took the trees awhile to begin changing, but they surely are pretty, especially against the background of evergreens.  Sacramento is such a pretty city.

Sister comes home from physical rehabilitation tomorrow.  Maybe we'll start our daily chat, depends on whether she can sit at the computer.  I doubt we'll be on for the usual two hours, but even 15 minutes will be nice.

Visited KK's brother this afternoon when I took Rena home.  He's as handsome as KK, but a lot heavier.  In fact he's a little overweight for a Siamese.  I'm concerned about KK. I think I need to have the Vet check him for hyperthyroidism.  For all he eats, he's very thin.  I can feel his spine and his ribs with only a small prodding.  Shouldn't be able to feel his spine at all.

Maybe I'll have something worthwhile to talk about tomorrow after the doctor visit, but for now, I think I'll go to bed.

Shalom

Sounds like a good idea to re-evaluate the meds. Less is better in most cases. Hope you two get it worked out. I HAVE seen some trees this year that just take my breath away. It's been a good year for color.

I noticed on news how wonderful your weather has been.. I don't know what to expect here. It is very cold at night. up to 40 F in day..
Winter is sad for lack of sunlight.. Only about 7 hours a day.. not enough for a sun lover such as I

I am still waiting results of son's biopsy.. they seem to always make a person wait.. Can't help but worry about him.. and the rest.. how he'll pay.. etc, etc.. How much surgery he'll need.. if it will spread .. all the stuff...
Mom is at doctors now.. I will find out more on her later
I went out to buy a turkey today.. and upon opening my door.. there is a man in my kitchen.. .. I had put in a request for someone to come repair my oven.. he pulled the old one out.. and says the new one will be here today. So now I just have a big hole there!
    :P
how nice it will be if I get a new one.. I suspect it will not be new.. but you never know.. He also fixed the toilet that didn't want to shut off and the hall light which kept blowing bulbs.. No ground wire..
He is a good handyman.. Not at all like my old place..
I drove by the old homestead today.. they don't have a for rent sign out.. So maybe they already rented it.. or maybe she is fixing it up some..
    I don't know
I do hope you can connect with your sister today. I know how much you look forward to your time with her..
    Hugs to you
    and happy turkey day
You will get time with your granddaughter.. I know she is probably counting the hours
    Luv

Hope the doc's visit goes well - good idea to write down all your meds and their side effects...makes it easier for them!

Gotta love nice weather when it shouldn't be :o)
