Mostly nothing
Fri Mar 07 2003

In line with my promise to myself to write every day something (except Shabbat, of course)--here is something.

My grandson called me last night, said he had the flu. Would I bring him the videotapes I had been recording for him? He wasn't well enough yet to get out and do something, and he was bored out of his gourd. Yet, he wasn't sick enough to stay in bed and moan.

So I took a run out to his place, delivered the tapes, blew him a kiss and wished him a get well soon. I miss our visits together. He charms me with his wit, and shares his pains with me too. I feel honored that he loves me and trusts me enough to seek my advice, or that he trust me to just let him babble without comment when he needs to just babble.

Since my daughter lives in the "general neighborhood," I delivered some stuff to her before I came home. She ran out of printer ink, and since I need some things printed, felt it was a good thing to see to it that she had printer ink.

It was nice to be out. I even drove with my car window down.

Some of these "errand" trips are going to have to be rationed, what with the price of gas these days.

The cat's litter box needed attention--yesterday. So I took care of that, too.

That pretty much sums up my day.

But it was a lovely day. OOps, Yetzirah, I did it again. However, the weather report says rain probably by Monday, so it isn't my fault!

Shalom.
