Wow!
Mon Oct 04 2004

On 1 October (Friday) I put that counter at the bottom of my diary. Just for fun. But I'm sitting here with my mouth agape. Here it is only Sunday, and I'm already at 97 visitors. Wonder who will be 100.

Now this seems strange to me that there are so many hits and so few comments. Maybe a half-dozen people consistently talk to me. Who are all these other people? Why are they hitting?

Is it a matter of curiosity?

Is is a matter of not having anything to say?

Is it a matter of just simply travelling through DD?

Interesting to speculate.

Ah, well. I'm having fun.

Shalom

I like to read your diary. I like the way you look at life. I won't nessesary comment to every entry not because I have nothing to say, but because I don't like to comment on an entry when I completely agree with the author, but cannot add anything valuable to the topic. I am your everyday's visitor though :-)
I think most of the people would prefer to stay quiet because they're too shy to speak, especially, when they are new in DDLand. Your stats speaks for itself - you are popular, but most important that you have fun with it, that is the only thing that matters. Have a great time!

I told you your counter would jump up all over the place. You are wise and popular.. I don't think I'm on anyone's' list.. *boohoo* sniffle*
But, maybe I'll try a counter myself..
I should be able to figure it out.. Although I am having trouble putting in pictures.
Hay speaking of.. Your pix is back.. yeah!!
    See ya

I don't like water beds.. I think an electric would scare me though
My grandson also misses his water bed.. He had one for many years as a child..

I hope you find a taker on that bed. I know how it feels to have to sleep on something that is not comfortable. I also really miss having a comfy recliner! There's one at Harveys that he never uses - I wonder if he'd give that up as easy as he gave up the braided rug? Probably not . . .

I used to sleep in the recliner too and found it very comfortable. I had acute asthmatic bronchitis (some type of it that went away with meds) and I know what you mean about needing to have your head up.

I'm going to try and add you to my chat. You can search for me using my email address too - [email protected] rather than the CalanthaUnleashed. I wonder if that was the problem now that I typed that name, maybe I have it wrong in my footer, I'll go check it out.

    Hope to chat sometime soon!

People listen but may feel they don't have anything to add to the conversation.
I'm like that quite a lot.
Doesn't necessarily mean I'm not interested or that I don't care.
Diaries are really a slice of people's lives, whichever way I look at it.
I always feel privileged to be allowed to visit, even silently.
    :)
