More pills. But at least he gave a prescription for something that will work as well as the Plavix, and it's a generic! $124 a month for 30 pills is just more than I can manage.
Dr says my cholesterol, HDL and LDL are good, but he wants them even good-er. Blood pressure is fine. I'll be getting some OTC iron tablets, as the hemoglobin is lower than low normal. He said that should probably perk me up some. I hope! I'll go back in 3-4 weeks for follow-up.
Also, I asked for nutrition counseling. My eating habits are horrid! I should know better, but I'm absolutely irresponsible when it comes to taking responsibility to myself for my diet. I figure if I have to report to someone, then shame, if nothing else, will keep me eating healthy. We'll see.
Visited Megan for awhile, lost track of time, and all of a sudden realized I needed to get home to get on-line with Sis.
Rena's school pictures came, and she is Wow! The photographer did a fantastic job. This child is 13 years old and already, oh, what can I say? Wow! If she loses weight, she'll have boys flocking around her like crazy. Maybe she should stay zaftig for awhile?? At least the love of her life right now is gay. They've known each other from forever, their minds could have been created in the same womb. Thank the Good Lord, he's gay, and she thinks sex is disgusting. (That'll change, of course, but not just yet, please.)
After yesterday's musicfest, I came home to find in the mailbox more! I have seven new CD's, and Yo-Yo Mah is on now playing Vivaldi. Oy! can life get any better?
