Haven't heard from Marian yet. May not until tomorrow. Surgery was scheduled for 7:30 this morning (MST), which means that she was being prepared for surgery, but probably didn't actually make it to the OR until 8:30.

I say that with a certainty because it was at that hour when I had to go to the bathroom, but my back was hurting so bad, I didn't think I would make it. I think I've been channeling my sister since early this morning. I've had to take Vicodin three times: once,  when I first got up for the bathroom, then again at 11:00 so I could finally get out of bed, and again about 15 minutes ago.

Joan brought me her light-weight walker, and it's making a huge difference in my ability to get up from a chair and to sit down again. I'm feeling a whole lot more secure ambulating with the walker.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't heard from Marian yet, and probably might not until tomorrow. I will let everyone know as soon as I know. Marian asked me to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts. And I thank you also. She's not out of the woods yet, so keep up the good work. And I do thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
