I'm back.

Hi, everybody!

Had a brief power outage in the middle of the night, and when I tried to log on, the puter was dead.  Since I was under the weather AGAIN!, it took a while to get up the energy to take this contraption to be fixed.  

Such a simple matter.  The power source inside the puter was burned out.  Never had that happen before, but the technician said the power outage "could" have been the cause, but there are so many other things could have done it.  Really irritating, too, becuase the innards of the computer are less than a year old.

I had almost 400 pieces of bounced mail, so if any of you tried to tell me something, and your message got bounced, INMF.  I'd be very happy if you'd try again.

KK tried my patience once too many times.  He now has a new home.  But happily, he's with his brother, and they've become good buddies.  Banshee has become his former happy, loving self, and all is well.

    So glad you're back! Yetzirah had said your absence was 'puter related so I didn't go into panic mode and start pestering your relatives for information, lol

    do you have a serge protector.??
    Or one of those special plugs you can keep your puter safe with??
    They are worth the 15$ to buy ~!!!
    glad you are back.. I've been worried about you.. even though others told me you just had computer troubles.. I still worry.. you know me.. I do it so well

    I agree with the others! You should get a surge protector. Please get Megan or the computer store customer srvice staff to install one for you if you can't manage it on your own.

    I am sorry to read about KK, but at the same time I understand it is perfectly necessary. I read about this in a book on training cats and understanding cat behaviour. KK was challenging Banshee's authority and territory, which made Banshee miserable and unable to have his peace and quiet. Since KK did not grow into a quiet, mellow cat, he must go to a home where boisterousness is encouraged. Some cats are happy being the only cats. I think Banshee is one.
