Bloomin' Fool

I counted 18 buds sticking their heads up from the Agapanthus leaves. Don't think there have been than many in the past. Two years ago was the first time any of the buds actually got to the flower stage, as there seemed always to be little boys with sticks pretending to be Musketeers. The flower buds were dragon heads, I guess. I told them if they kept lopping off the heads of my flowers, I lop off their heads.

That was fine that year, but next year I had to remind them again.

I found another bud valiantly poking its head up from the leaves. If I hadn't been snail hunting, I would have missed it.  Darned slimy creatures. The French can have their--whatcha callems--fancy name. I just wish they'd kept them in France.

Every day I go out and go snail hunting, and every day there are even more than the previous day. I think the ones I missed today will breed overnight and have quadruplets for me tomorrow.

Oh well. After a bit of rain this morning, the sun is out now, and it's warming up nicely.

Bless

PS: I weighed Miss Piggy this morning. She weighs 12 pounds!!! She should never be more than 8 pounds. As of yesterday she's on a diet.

I do nothing at 8:00 a.m., except roll over. Forget that noise! However, I hope the PT works out for you.

Harvey is a closet sadist if he expects ANYONE to expend that kind of energy at that time of day *sniggers*.

I'm surprised that the Dr. didn't find out the reason for the pain before sending you for therapy. That seems kind of counter-productive to me. Maybe that's why there was a screening appointment.

    Best of luck with it!

    Hugs,

Regarding snails, I've heard that if you can find strips of copper (I've seen them in some garden shops) and put it around the plants, you won't have snails on the plants or anywhere inside the copper barrier.

I haven't tried this myself, I just use slug bait when I can. I've tried putting non-chemical barriers around things before, and my kids move them while playing, making it useless.
