This is only an experiment.
Just want to see if fonts and colors will translate from Word to DD.
It's HOT here. Supposed to be 103, today, but I'll manage. It's supposed to be 108 in Tucson where my sister lives. Those five degrees can mage a HUGE difference. While their humidity is in single digits, ours is in double digits. But at least low double digits.
I went out early (early for me) to do some bill paying and pet purchases. I discovered that Verizon is right next door to Petco, so I was able to complete two errands at the same time. Decided to go to the bank tomorrow (early).
I bought a 30 pound bucket of cat litter. It's still in the car. Have to wait until I can snag one of my muscular neighbors to haul it into the house for me.
Toesies simply does not want any of the sample kibbles the vet gave me. He eats the canned food with much gusto, but canned food only causes rapid development of plaque on cats' teeth. And that's expensive to remove. Anyway, I bought a small bag of kibble with the assurance that if Toesies doesn't like it I can bring it back.
I never had any problem with Banshee. Megan had him well-trained, and he eats most anything I put before him. Good boy.
I hope I don't jinx myself by reporting this, but three times this month I've received money I didn't expect. So I've created a travel jar, uh, fund. The money goes into the jar. I may make it to London or Israel after all. Wouldn't want my passport to go to waste.
I made some sun tea with regular tea bags and blueberry-flavored bags. Tasty, but could use another blueberry bag for a fuller flavor.
Well, now, let's see how this works.
Shalom
Oh, by the way, Megan has finally gotten her night shift. It's at a different site, but with the same company. So there goes my mostly weekly visit with her on-site. I tried to time my arrival for her lunch break, and have a nosh or a sip with her. But no way am I going to meet her at 2:00am for any reason. At least she has off two days in a row now. It's tough to manage a home, have time with a child, and do the myriad errands on one day off.
OK, that's it for today.
