I've had a good week. Energetic, bowels working more or less normally, and sleeping fairly well. Energetic to the point of pushing a little too hard, but I'll get evened out eventually.
Spent a couple hours going from store to store trying to find a compost bin. What I got isn't what I wanted, but it'll work. Need to find some worms to help the decomposition work better.
Bought a white cyclamen and repotted it, as it looked all squashed in the original pot. I got it to go with the red one that is resting as of now. It sent up two very long stems with a healthy looking leaf on each stem, but now the stems have folded over, lifeless. I'll keep watering and adding a bit of plant food, and maybe it'll come back again. Would hate to lose it.
Also potted a well-rooted geranium cutting. I've forgotten what color the blooms are. White maybe, but I hope it's the red. Another cutting is in the process of rooting, and I'm pretty sure it's the white one. Well, we'll see eventually.
Sat out on the patio in the late afternoon and early evening, and read. Very pleasant with the mid- to high-80s we've been having. Apartment got kind of stuffy, so the patio was even nicer by comparison. Once I get the patio cleaned up and arranged to my satisfaction, maybe I can divert some of that energy to cleaning the apartment.
The apartment is such a mess I don't even want to live here. My excuse is six months of misery, but I can't claim that now. I admit that I don't like housekeeping, but I have never ever been in this shape. It's disgusting!!
OK, enough of the flagellating for now. It's time for bed, and my eyes and back will be grateful for the repose.
Tomorrow, without fail, I must do some laundry!!
Bless
