I'm tired
Wed May 04 2005

The pantry is all reorganized. All the Pesach dishes and utensils are put away for another year. The kitchen is back to normal. (But the floor still needs mopping.) I'm getting rid of stuff that I've collected over the 7 years I've been here, because things might be useful. Well, all they've done is take up space, so the Packrat got slapped down, and the Clean-up Lady took charge. Hope she stays awhile. A long while.

Used the very last drop of dish soap, so decided I'd better go to the store. Once there, I forgot what brand I had just run out of. Senior Moment seems to be a constant companion. Anyway, I stopped at Noah's Bagels and got my monthly supply of bagels, then went to the store. Of course, dish soap wasn't the only thing I came home with. I remembered some other things I needed to the tune of $61 and change. All for a bottle of dish soap.

I've had a backache almost all day. Just can't be on my feet very long any more.

BTW: to those of you who are sending cards: Don't worry about getting the cards out on "the day." If they're spread out, that prolongs the fun (for me). And you who don't know what it's all about, all I'll say is it's a prank. And Sis, if you blow the whistle on this, I'm dead! You don't know from nuthin', and you didn't even read this paragraph.

Looks like more rain here tomorrow, and snow in the mountains. Good grief, it's May! and still snowing. Somebody said something about El Nino this year, so maybe we're going to continue having crazy weather. Ah, well, I don't melt, and come to think of it, I wish I could. 20 pounds to start with. Just for encouragement.

Guess I'll say Finished to this little bit of blarney. Go play a couple games of FreeCell, then to bed. Harry has another doctor appointment tomorrow, so I won't be able to loll in bed.

G'night.

Shalom

I answered the door with my robe on. I would never go to the door in a towel.
Oh my!!! but I often go out and get the mial in my robe. It is a thick, long robe..
I always answer the door worried that it may be something really important. My Dad, my friend, a grandkid

    Dear Chaya,

For those of you who are witnessing snow in the mountains this time the year, it must be difficult for you to believe that global warming is a reality, LOL!

Isn't it fun to clean up and get organized? Oh how I wish I lived close by, I really would love to help you with the spring-cleaning. My friends think I would make a fortune if I were to go to the States to be one of those 'storage organizers' who help people streamline their homes and belongings and lives. I would do it for you for free, and then come and do the follow up work for you, too.

I love bagels. I don't find them easily here, though.

    Lots of Love,
    E.L.
