I just watched the New Year celebration in Old Sacramento. I had to mute the sound because it was more than I could handle. Even turning down my hearing aid.
Anyway, there was a waterfall of fireworks falling off the side of the bridge that crosses the Sacramento River. Very interesting sight. And there were lots and lots of sky fireworks. And lots and lots of yelling and screaming.
I'm not one of those adventurous people who go out on New Year's Eve. There are too many crazy drunks out. And what I can see on television suits me just fine.
