Someone suggested that maybe Ma Nature has been PMSing. I hope she's done with it for awhile. I like rain, but really, enough is enough.
Been reading an interesting book about the Korean War. Written in the first person, so I'm assuming that it's biographic. It was nasty over there. The book is The Four Deuces by C.S. Crawford. It was published in 1989, so if you're interested, you'll have to look in the used books stores. Where I got this, I don't remember. The Four Deuce was a 4.2 chemical mortar. "It's an army weapon that the marines have adapted to our specific use." As the story commences, reader learns that this was a really fine piece of artillery.
The language is a little salty, but if you want to know about Korea from a grunt's point of view, I recommend this book.
Other than some laundry, I didn't do anything of any significance today.
But this evening was good. It's the first night of an 8-week course from the Jewish Learning Institute. So every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, I'll be learning something new. Or maybe having an expanded knowledge of something I already know.
I've assigned myself a project. And it's going to take quite a bit of paper. I should have been doing this all along, but I just got it into my head that I'd like to have hard copies of my diaries since I started writing. Somebody mentioned an incident that I didn't recall writing about, which is why I came to this idea. I went out and bought two reams of paper and a large notebook.
So, I guess I'd best get printing. Oh, no, it won't get all done tonight. I do like to sleep, and it's not such a big deal to get it done. However, I'm going to have to figure a way to get directly to a particular diary. There is a way, isn't there?
Shalom
