After Leisure League luncheon (meal so-so; entertainment good), I went and got granddaughter Rena for the weekend. She goes back to school Monday, and I figured since I'm feeling pretty good now, this would be the last time we'd have a long weekend. I'll take her home Sunday.
Rena spent 4-1/2 hours surfing the net. Her TV at home is bust, and I think she got refilled, for awhile.
A darling, dear friend gave me a scarf made of eyelash yarn. It's all the rage here. Everywhere I go, I see women wearing them. Mine is made of auburn and white yarns. Very pretty. Amazingly warm! I admired her black and white scarf, so she thought I should have one in "my" colors. Have to wear something in a compatible color on Saturday so I can show her that I appreciate her thoughtfulness, even though I've already given a hearty thanks and a xxoo.
Nothing more to report here, so when Rena gets out of the shower, I'll go do my pre-bedtime ablutions and hit the sack.
Shalom
