Weather reporters! What do they know? I'll never trust 'em again.
Snow? Rain? Clouds?
Hah!
Clear blue sky.
But they got one thing right. It's cold!
Shalom

A nice day to snuggle up in a warm blanky with a hot drink and a good book.

I've always said their crystal ball has a 50/50 chance of being right or wrong.

I've decided that I can do just as good a job forecasting as they do. They never get it right either! LOL

The only weather forecaster I ever met who was acuuarte almost 100% of the time is my Dad. He was phenomenal.
As to snow in Hood River? No, that 18'' is now more the exception than the rule, and they haven't had that much since the winter you were there.

Ani

we have not gotten to the freezing mark.. that is we are below freezing now for over a month.. yeah.. I'd say it is cold.. My space heaters are going all the time.. and my heater only at night.. that way I think I'm going to be able to pay my utilities.. but I do worry about it.
Hope spring comes on soon!!

Hey, join me anyway!
I don't drink milk at all, because it makes me short of breath and bloats me up, so on milk and banana day I just skip the milk, and I rarely eat red meat. On the beef days I tend to go for chicken. Why shouldn't you have fish? It's all protein. I suspect, since the diet was created for cardiac patients, they threw in the beef to pacify the men, lol.
Just alter the diet to one you can actually do!

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I do believe you have to be on my friends list to get notified. I just added the button on the menu bar and I added you to my list, but you have to request the notify.
It would be hard for me not to combine meat and dairy at the same meal. I'm so used to doing it. I know when I was trying to go meatless it was a challenge for me. You could do without the Parmesan in the recipe but what would you substitute for the cream soup? That would be the hard part. Maybe canned chicken gravy?

Dear Chaya,
Your entry reminds me of a comic strip I once read of this guy who calls up the TV station and asks for the weather guy. Then he yelled at the weather guy to 'come to my house and shovel the eight inches of Partly Cloudy off my driveway'.
