I kind of over-did it today.  Even on my best days, I run out of energy. But after pampering myself for the last three weeks, I ran out quicker.

Had to go get my cell phone bill paid, and then get it on auto-pay from now on (overdue amount caused me to get shut down). Then to Shalom School to dump a whole trunk-load of bagged papers in the recycle dumpster. Then to the next Leisure League host synagogue to leave a check as a reservation for February's event. Then to the post office for some stamps, so I could mail some more checks. I needed 53 two-cent stamps to go with my 39-cent stamps. I had a bunch of change in my purse, but not enough to make $1.26.  So I had to break a 20.

All if this took some unaccustomed walking.

I stopped at the mailbox at home and had a bunch of stuff, among which was an envelope addressed to Mom & Gryffan.  So, I walked over there to share.  I came home and collapsed in my recliner.

Oh! Bad News! I woke up to mold on the south wall of my bedroom.  I called welshamethyst for advice. She said wash it down with 10% bleach-water.  I got part of the wall washed. Couldn't get all of the stuff off where I washed. I still have more wall to wash.  And the carpet is damp. Oh, yes, and the mold crept into the closet, too.

As a result, my bed is piled high with clothes and stuff I pulled out of a cabinet that has to be pulled away from the wall.  Need help there, as I can't move it.  And a heavy chest (cedar chest type, but not cedar) has to be moved.  I think this means I have to move my bed too.

Guess where I'll be sleeping for the next several nights.  Good thing the recliner is as comfortable as it is.

Oh, and I made a boo-boo in my last entry.  I said Gryffan decided they were going to Tahoe for skiing.  Not Gryffan. Andrew decided. I keep calling them by the other's name. They do sound alike, except Gryffan is quiet, and on the telephone I have a hard time distinguishing whom I'm talking to. They have some speech mannerism in common. But they are nothing alike.  Gryffan is a lot taller and a lot bigger, and quiet and peaceful to be around.  Andrew is loud and hyper-kinetic.  He's not obnoxiously loud, or obnoxiously boisterous.  But his conversational volume is loud.  And I love both of them dearly.

I think I gonna go to bed.

Bless

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as a tennant (not an owner) don't you just call the landlord when you get a problem like mold? You shouldn't have to kill yourself repairing a problem with the building. It seems to me that the landlord would *want* to know there is a problem on the south side of his building. After all, it is the direction of the prevailing winds during winter storms in our region. If the building has a leak it could cost him a lot more than a few hours of cleaning crew time.

I am with 404 call the building owner or maintaince for they should fix and repair including painting and carpet, If they refuse call the local housing AUTH.
You do not need MOLD with your condition.
    Please do it TODAY.

Oh.. mold is awful.. my daughter just had a bout with it also.. behind her couch.. her windows are messed up.. double paned (pained) but half the panes are broken out.. and yeah.. I wouldn't use 10% though.. I'd get a mask.. one of those they have at hospitals.. gloves and have at it.. with full strength Clorox and a brush or maybe 50-50.. but 20% will not cut it.. Your landlord may have to kilns it.. and if so.. you need to sleep somewhere else the night after.. coz kilms is a toxic stuff.. (goes on like paint) and then they can paint.. In fact when I worked with it.. (when I had my painting company) I used to not allow residents to return for 2 to 3 days. jsut to be sure
But be sure your landlord knows what is happening to you.. that is all their responsibility.. if any of your cloths are affected.. well. I'd get renters insurance .. you know.
hope your lungs are suffering.. Mold is very, very bad for people with asthma and c.o.p.d. or any other lung problem..
    i worry
    please be well
    quit over doing it.
that mold could also cause you to be fatigued!
