A good day
I woke up this morning feeling good. Well-rested and strong.
The Home Health Aide arrived about noon and helped me bathe and shampoo. Aaaah! Heaven. I could have sat all day and have her pour warm water over me. And clean hair! Blessings on that dear lady.
I had cleaned my colostomy bag shortly before she arrived, so I was ready to get into clean everything. Debated about wearing my pretty new sweats, but decided that when it was time for bed, I would be in no mood to change into jammies. So jammies it was for another day.
Friend Joan brought me cholent from the kiddush after services. Then later on Friend Sandra brought me a plate of salads from the kiddush at her synagogue.
About 3:45, thereabouts, I was beginning to be droopy-eyed so Joan went home and I had a nap. After about a half hour I was up again, and now at 6:09pm PST, I'm feeling droopy again.
It was a Very Good Day.
