Ear bleed
Fri Feb 22 2008

No more bleeding. No earache. No fever.  I have an appointment with the ENT , Dr Ow (!) Monday morning. We shall see what we shall see then.

Had the carotid arteries examined today. They go wow wow wow. Which is good.

And other good news: I got a refund check from CSAA.  Seems I paid my insurance twice last month. Can't figure how I did that, because I'm very careful not to pay for something I don't owe. Sure is nice to see, cuz I'm getting perilously close to bankruptcy if February lasts much longer.

I'm not planning on going to shul tomorrow.  Another storm is supposed to be coming in tonight, and winds are predicted to hit 50mph gusts. I don't think my walker can handle that. But  I'll read the service to myself, and wish I could be there for the kiddush, as we have a caterer (a member of the congregation who has volunteered herself) who puts on a mighty find spread.

Shabbat Shalom

Bless

    Funny.
You know, when those winds of your get to me, they will be packing a mighty bunch of snow along.. and will have picked up more speed.. Quit it.. now ... Lets order up some spring..

Glad to hear that your health is good at what has been looked at so far. Hope your ear has good news too, on Monday. Have a happy weekend and again, Happy Sabbath, Pragmatist. God bless!

What causes bleeding from the ear, in your case particularly? Or is that what you're waiting to find out? Have ANY ideas?

Sorry you'll miss out on all the good food tomorrow.....;o] If you have wheels on your walker maybe you could borrow a skateboard somewhere and use the wind to your advantage.

    God Bless....

An ear bleed? I'll be watching to see why. That is strange, and worrisome!

Bad timing on that storm. Good timing with the refund, though! I know what tight money feels like, and wish to goodness you didn't. It makes me a little crazy, knowing you do.

    Love,
    Ani

PS I don't comment every day, but I want you to know I do think of you every single day.

Nope! I'm not kidding....Do you remember DMSO or DSMO (can't remember which)? It was a solvent that helped with joint pain (I'm not even going to ATTEMPT a double entendre cause I know I could never keep up with you) and WD-40 has the same solvent. You will want to ask your MD about it, I'm sure, to find out just how viable it would be for you. I never used it but I know quite a few people who couldn't live without it. I would be surprised if you couldn't get info about it online.

I obviously wasn't thinking about the fact that you wouldn't be able to either GET to your destination or RETURN. Thank goodness you're smart or who knows where you would have ended up! I hate to imagine! ;o]
